Christina Clarke is a Canadian painter and visual artist based in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. Christina is inspired by exploration and observation of natural landscapes near and far. Notably, she is drawn to the ways in which light and weather constantly re-invent the mountain landscapes of the Pacific Northwest.
Christina is a self-taught artist. From an early age, she spent many hours exploring different media to create unique and interesting representations of her surroundings. Working mainly with acrylics, Christina continues to explore creative approaches to transport viewers to a familiar time or place, however remote.
Christina grew up in Orillia, Ontario and now calls Vancouver, B.C., home.
